Living Healthy, Living Green

We are a national non-profit organization connecting parents who are passionate about holistic health and green living. Founded in 2003, today Holistic Moms Network (HMN) boasts more than 120 chapters across North America and is growing fast. HMN encourages families to parent from the heart, trust their instincts, and to live naturally. Members come together at monthly meetings in non-judgmental environments to learn from each other, give support, and share information. Meetings often feature guest speakers who are professionals in their field and explore a variety of interesting topics, from healthy eating to homeopathy. Members also connect through our online communities, take advantage of our Wellness Savings Club, receive free digital subscriptions to Mothering and Organic Spa magazines, and receive our own e-magazine, The Wise Mom.

Holistic Parenting and Green Living

Today, more and more parents want to make informed choices and are looking for advice about natural parenting. Our mission is to generate national awareness, education, and support for these parents by providing nurturing, open-minded, and respectful local community networks that encourage families to share these ideals and learn from each other. HMN represents the growing demographic of holistic-minded parents who strive to give their children the love, support, and information they need to become healthy, compassionate, and informed individuals who can live in balance with our world.

Back to Partner Overview

Our holistic fundamentals include:

Teaching our children to respect and care about the natural world by actively providing opportunities for them to be in nature, and teaching them about how they can protect our environment.
Limiting our children's exposure to advertising, marketing, and a consumer-driven culture that is creating rampant materialism, disconnecting them from nature and healthy social interactions.
Living more simply and consuming less in an effort to reduce our impact on the environment and to emphasize non-material values.
