Kid Command Rules

Kid Command Rules

Just like in real life, having rules and limits means having more fun!  No…it’s true.  Think about it:  what if there weren’t any stop lights or stop signs in your town?  Cars would surely crash and people would be hurt everyday.  Rules are important for your safety…in the real world and in the virtual world of Kid Command.

Please follow these simple Kid Command rules:

NEVER give out personal information…EVER.

DO NOT:
• Reveal your real name or nickname.
• Reveal where you live.
• Give out your phone number.
• Give out your email address.
• Give out your password.

Tip: Think of your avatar as a character in a story. This character is not you so do not give it any of your personal information. Even when you make a new online friend in the Kid Command world, it is important that you remember the above rules.

Make sure that your password is hard to guess.
• Do not use your birthday, phone number, or street address.
• Do use a combination of letters and numbers.

Tip: You don’t want anyone to guess your password and pretend to be you. They could break the rules and get your character in trouble.

• Use appropriate words and behavior.
• Kid Command does not tolerate foul language or bullying in any form.
• Contact a moderator to report inappropriate language or behavior.

Tip: Remember that when you treat others kindly, they will treat you kindly in return. Players who are not fair and courteous will have to speak to a moderator who may suspend them from the virtual world for repeated bad behavior. Trust your gut.

You are a smart kid. You know when something makes you feel uncomfortable or nervous. If another player says something that makes you feel uncomfortable or nervous, do not respond. Instead, BE SURE to tell your parents or a moderator.

Do not make plans to meet an online friend in person! Have fun and be safe!
